Thunderbird Club

Here's my live rig. TC RH450 and 2 RS212 cabs. Insane tone and easy to move.

Whoa, that's an intense set-up, Wolf.
With my Crue Tribute I need an svt tone and a more modern hence the pre amps. I run those into the fx return using the gk poweramp and boost. For the Spector "girls" era time I'm running the Baxx Box haz clone direct into the gk front end. If I'm using my Spector I bypass it (switch) for the birds I have it on to get closer to that tone. For MY tone, I bypass the pres and go right into the GK. It's an all in 1 set up, 4 different rigs in 1.

Hey Tbird gang, regarding the Epi Classic Pro; I read here that the white color option is being discontinued. Any rumors of new colors being introduced? I would love a heritage cherry model. Also curious if there are any rumblings about Epi changing or discontinuing this model? Hope not; I need to get one soon...

Ooh, where'd you see that? I'd love a cherry or Pelham Blue one. In fact, I think if they put it out as a Pelham, I'd just be in constant need of new underwear.

Ampeg SVT-3 Pro is my primary, with a GK 800RB as my back up. Hartke 410XL on the top, the bottom is a Transporter I got for $60 that works till I can replace it with another XL. That whole rig (minus rack and cables) set me back just over $800. I hate to contemplate what it would cost at retail.

Need some suggestions. I have an idea for that open space in my rack, but I'm not sure how exactly to go about it. I have LED light strips with a remote control that I'm gonna put in the rack. I want to put a panel in there with my band's name on it so the LED's will light it from behind and make the name glow. I thought about having the name cut on a blank steel panel, but can't find anybody who can cut it out. Etch it yes, cut it out no. I thought about doing a panel in acrylic or plastic but I can't figure out how to get a good clean image on that, either. Any ideas?

I read here at Talkbass that white would not be available on Classic Pro moving forward. I haven't heard anything about new colors; just wondering if anyone else had. Seems strange that they would only offer the one color doesn't it? Which lead me to thinking; maybe they are phasing it out entirely and white just ran out first. I hope not though...

Given how well it's sold, the only reason I can think to discontinue is it is cannibalizing US Gibsons. Especially after the price increase and general craziness over the newest models. Though here's hoping its just making room for new colors. Man cannot live on sunburst alone :)
