I absolutely love the look of covers, when I play live, 99% of my time I'm using a pick and my pinkie lays across the bridge cover. They make the perfect rest for your hand, my Greco really needs one as the exposed 3 point really roughs up the outside of my pinkie. Pup covers are fine by me too, no problem playing around them.

Me and the Lull, FWIW I added these to it after I bought it.

I like that bass a great deal.

I'm admitting that you are either a 'Bird person or not. I'm apparently a 'Bird person. The Ric experiment is now officially over.

I'm not a (insert every bass designed by Leo Fender) person :roflmao: The only bass of the many I've owned that I ever regret selling was my '73 Rickenbacker 4001.

Same here...

I too regret selling my Jetglo 4001, but have never regretted selling my P-Bass, although I did like the sound of it...

Having said this, I gotta admit I do have a Blacktop P in my collection - Never played it live though... Just bought it for the double humbuckers and to mod the heck out of it, and to have a P-Bass that was not your usual MIM, MIJ or MIA... :)

I love the P bass I built with the '62 Lollars and half-rounds. I love the sound the Jazz makes, but hate the aesthetics. I sold the G3. I'm really meh on the Armstrong and only keep it because it's cool and vintage.

I've bonded with the 'Bird. She's my favourite by a mile. The shape, the tone, the look. Can't be beat.

You sold the G3???

When did that happen?

Same here, and it's been like that since I bought my first Goth in '09 - If only I had bought one years ago...

Tracked some demos this WE and used my Gibson 50th Anniversary for it - The growl of that bass is out of this world, and that's even with the stock strings still on... :)
