Thunderbird Club

Well I failed the test initially, but passed on my second try :)

I played the T-Bird at GC and couldn't believe how good it sounded. Better than all my other basses at a much lower price! I bought it on the spot. But once I got home with it the reality of it being so different than my Fenders set in and I gave up on it. But after several months of hanging on the wall looking good, I picked it back up and for some reason stuck with it for a few days, and that's all it took!
I didn't pass the test the first time either. Damn glad I got 'er on the second attempt;)

It never ceases to amaze me how many bands don't take transport seriously. I was always one to believe the van was more important than having a set of strings on my bass.
I have a full size Chevy van with one back seat. It means I am the indispensable band member.

Given the photos, I wonder if the tour ends with our Duke being chased by the police, neo-Nazis, and a ex-fiancée.

No police so far...plenty of neo-nazis and I’ve never had an ex fiancée. Two ex wives though :)
