Anyone know where I can get a flight case for it? I'm flying to a blues festival in a couple weeks and would like to take it instead of the P-Bass.

Pellican makes cases that are intended for checking rifles into airline cargo holds, and that kind of case might work. I have a Pellican case for work stuff that I have to check on flights. You can get those cases with or without foam. They aren't even close to cheap, and you would probably spend more on the case than you spent on the bass guitar, but that's more a reflection on the price of the bass guitar than the price of the case.

[edit] A keyboard case would probably work, too. You would have to reconfigure the padding, but that's not too hard - old t-shirts work for all kinds of alternate uses for example.

I always liked Ted Nugent's music; too bad he turned into an right-wing nut. I always liked Neil Young's music too; too bad he turned into a left-wing nut. What is wrong with rock stars that they think that their politics should be important to the audience? (I'm looking at you Bono Vox).

On the other hand, I have the greatest respect for Bob Geldof and the Grateful Dead. Bob put excessive amounts of his own money into the causes he preached about and the Grateful Dead lived their hippy values paying everyone on stage and in the crew the same.
