Isis is a nice name for a catI've had cats named Egypt and Bast, so Isis was the next female Egyptian name that came to mind![]()
Raising an eyebrow! It can be both things...

I have a few bigger books to suggest - Toynbee "Study of History" in eleven 500 page volumes, Gibbon "Fall of the Roman Empire" in eight 500 page volumes. All written for maximum indigestibility. That would fill a book the size of War and Peace.
Blame, Fixer!
That one Nugent video put me on a deep dive into Uncle Ted, the Motor City Madman!

+1As I have said many timesLike the music, just hate the politics.
Although in the case of Bozo, the politics turned me off U2's music.
Sounds like wunna them things that just needs to happen! Can ya snap a pic for us real quick!Found a bolt-on Epi 'Bird IV for $229 at the local GC. Looks beat, got dings and a crap-looking pickguard, but sounds really cool: deep, round, with a little "top". Feels like an old Matsumoku thing... I think I'm going to go put some bread down on it.

A "beat" Bird is better than no Bird at all-or 2 in a bush. I've had mine 46 years and it's gotten a few bumps and bruises. Still sounds great.Found a bolt-on Epi 'Bird IV for $229 at the local GC. I left. So broke, and officially unemployed, that I got trigger-shy. If it stays with me I'll go back tomorrow. Or later.Sounds like wunna them things that just needs to happen! Can ya snap a pic for us real quick!![]()

Man... I'm doin' the same kinda thing. A local pawn shop has a Skwar Bronco bass that I could probably grab for 40bux. It's sportin' 3 strings & got a few donks on it, but with a li'l love, I could whip it into shape in a hurry... then see if I could find somebody who'd swap me an Epi EBO for it or sup'm. There's about a million other things I "oughta" do with that 40bux, but come ON... ya know...I left. So broke, and officially unemployed, that I got trigger-shy. I'm battling the urge to go spend 40bux on a bass... and you send me off to ponder it over a bottle of hooch that cost as much as the bass??? You need to round the edges off your enabling skills my friendMight I suggest a pint of Glenfiddich?![]()
