Thunderbird Club

I was just being kinda facetious... or something... but I never do that either!

Keep after 'em. I asked about a drop today, but "corporate" had already done a drop. It's kinda battered, but not far off the mark I guess- we are talking about used store prices. Daddy's Junky Music did the same kind of business.

Good luck with it! Hell if I had a flush scene I might even go in with you and buy the cab. I can always install a cab somewhere... unfortunately that ain't happening this week.
Sooo... if I buy it, I can just give the cab to you instead of just buying the head and running out of the store and leaving the cabinet behind? :hyper:

What a steal....over here that's what you would pay for the head alone..
The pics don't show the real condition very well. This puppy is in some rough shape. It sounds OK but it would be a project to get it where it could/ should be just soundwise. Like I said, looks-wise, I'd just start from scratch with it.

Where does it say it ain't 6's?
When I had the 2 '63 Bassman's-which I sold-then, many years later, bought a black Tolex Bassman, which didn't sound like what I remembered, I read up on them. According to people who know a helluva more about circuitry than I ever will, the earlier 6GB6 is "better". All I know is the black one I got just wasn't "right".:(<EDIT>that should read 6G6-B. That's what I get for trying to go from memor.......Oh, Look,a rabbit!

Cute kitty!:)
He comes around and hangs with me on the planks sometimes when I'm working on this one house. It's a part time thing I'm doing for a friend, we barter stuff... he's a mechanic, fixes my vehicles sometimes.
The cat belongs to a tenant there. Little mutt takes a piece of me once in a while!

Blame, Fixer!

That one Nugent video put me on a deep dive into Uncle Ted, the Motor City Madman!

When I was working at Melton's Stereo & HiFi (Atl, 1978), at the end of a frustrating day, I'd lock the doors, go down to the high end room and crank the slow version of this off the live album at many, many watts through heavily EQ-d Bose 901s. After 2-3 times through that, I was ready for anything. Nice, hypnotic bass!
