Did you get the Epiphone case?
I took my VP to rehearsal with my cover band last night.
I kept it mostly on the neck PU and tone rolled back except for the “fusion” tunes where I dialed up the bridge PU and tone a bit more.
( @Christine I’m keeping the RS-66’s on)
It responds so nicely to right hand position and dynamics!
I do find my right hand tends to migrate closer toward the bridge than I would play on other basses.
For the reggae tunes, I anchored my thumb on the side of the fingerboard and that totally works.
The drummer loves the sound, while the guitarist hasn’t acknowledged it
I’m gonna take it to tonight’s gig and see how it fits in the live mix. The drummer will be recording video and audio, so that will give me a chance to hear it from the audience’s perspective.

I bought the Yorkville case from Long & Mcquade. It’s a huge rectangle, but fits the bass nicely and has a really big compartment.

Hmm. Wonder if that would hold my 67 NR. (It's 52" long).
It also never occurred to me to take one earthquake pill let alone the whole bottle.
So possible, just not economically practical. At least it shows you can buy one, rather than a set. Perhaps check through their distribution chain?
You tube has a shipload of "roadrunner" videos(originals). Good for 20-30 minutes of diversion.
I have a Yorkville one for the 5er and an Epiphone one for the 4. All things considered, I think the Yorkville one might be a better case (for me).

I just read a list of the 41 worst albums of all time. It was based on reviews and I was absolutely flabbergasted. Neither Shark Sandwich nor Rock and Roll Creation were on the list. As I recall the review of Rock and Roll Creation was "On what day did God create Spinal Tap and couldn't he have rested that day as well" and the review for Shark Sandwich was two words "Sh!t sandwich".
