Thunderbird Club

Played one at a shop. It was pretty cool looking, hung we’ll had sounded awesome. If I had not seen with my own eyes Nikki spit on fans at a concert multiple times (the fans loved it, BTW) I would probably have it. I like that it has a full upper register and PJ setup. Color is nice, too. I think Schecter typically uses EMGs. But... pricy. And it smelled like saliva.
Gaaack!:vomit:

No, they're not from Prog, I think they're Canadian. ;)
On the Canadian music scale they are closer to Justin Bieber than Anne Murray but closer to Nickelback than Neil Young.:D In my house they're closer to the trash can than Offspring, but in @theFixer house they are more likely to be heard than anything Offspring ever produced.
YMMV
I deserve that, I knew what I was getting in to!

I'm looking to clone the pup cover on my '60 EBO to fit 'SG' USA basses.

I have no idea how the size of the pickup compares to an original Mudbucker. Anyone have a picture of whatever is under the chrome cover of an SG?

For comparison, here's a '67 Mudbucker.

I lusted after a chrome cover in when I bought the EBO in '64. Fortunately I never found one. Any help on SG dimensions greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Are you gonna try reproducing the pickup too?
Maybe the EB-3 bridge pup as well?
I’ll be first inline for them if you do!

Still the best non-fridge cabinet I've ever played through!
My Berg HT322 will be the very last piece of bass gear I ever get rid of, yes even the birds would go before it goes. But that only makes sense because the birds would be my last basses to go and without any basses who needs a cab!;)

I'm glad i snatched it up when i did.

Todd - you fit in great in this club! There's always some light hearted fun and joking in here but we're all a big happy family. If you haven't already done so, you need to post your Bird and get a number!

Truth be told, there's infinitely more musical talent in the Rush cutting room trash can than there will ever be in my house. If I could just find a way to get around Geddy's voice I'd probably like their music a lot more. And being a big prog fan I'd probably put Rush on the Pop end of Prog, similar to Yes but a tad more prog than them. Interesting question you posed, it causes one to think before answering.

Everyone in Canada loves Ann Murray. I couldn't find any yoot oobs of the more obscure songs, but here is one of Mary Poppins doing something in a similar style.

Is it your turn to run the initiation? My grass skirt is at the cleaners - I thought I was putting it away for the winter.

:roflmao:I'm not sure my grass skirt will work either. I washed it last week and hung it out to dry. Unfortunately, my Gardner thought it needed trimming, now it's more of a mini skirt. I still have the coconuts though and I think @theFixer will bring the arc welder if we ask him. Goat boy lost the bulldozer but he still has a front loader IIRC. Now we just need to find out where Todd lives.;)

Don't worry Todd, most of our new club members survive. Besides, you get to organize the next initiation.
