Thunderbird Club

:roflmao:I'm not sure my grass skirt will work either. I washed it last week and hung it out to dry. Unfortunately, my Gardner thought it needed trimming, now it's more of a mini skirt. I still have the coconuts though and I think @theFixer will bring the arc welder if we ask him. Goat boy lost the bulldozer but he still has a front loader IIRC. Now we just need to find out where Todd lives.;)

Don't worry Todd, most of our new club members survive. Besides, you get to organize the next initiation.
LMAO! I think?????........... I’m in Rochester Mn by way of Santa Cruz Ca.

Gotta get back to building my dresser. Day off honey do’s! Be back shortly with Bird Pic’s!
Awesome!
Post a pic of the Bird near the new dresser for bonus points (I forget, but you either lose or gain extra points if your shoes or feet are visible anywhere in the picture). Good luck with the dresser, and as always is the case with particle board - finger tight does it!

Carlo - don't know if you want it or need it but I have a 2007 SG Supreme bass (with the non-trim ring faux mudbucker pup at the neck) if you need info on that.

PS - I'm still reading through your JAEBird link, absolutely awesome!

Thanks, G. 2007 info would be great. I'm guessing by then dimensions were in mm, so mounting and pole holes in the cover might differ from the original Made in USA specs.

But maybe not. Vince has an Epi IIRC, it would make sense to do covers for them, too. Please PM me.

Todd - you fit in great in this club! There's always some light hearted fun and joking in here but we're all a big happy family. If you haven't already done so, you need to post your Bird and get a number!

Truth be told, there's infinitely more musical talent in the Rush cutting room trash can than there will ever be in my house. If I could just find a way to get around Geddy's voice I'd probably like their music a lot more. And being a big prog fan I'd probably put Rush on the Pop end of Prog, similar to Yes but a tad more prog than them. Interesting question you posed, it causes one to think before answering.
Probably explains why La Villa Strangiato and YYZ are my favorite....both instrumental...;)

Will do. Which is it? Shoes in or shoes out cause I got the perfect shoes!

Here ya go...
2007 Gibson SG Supreme (Short Scale bass)
The outside dimensions of the cover are 90mm x 53mm and it sits on the surface of the bass. Height is 8mm.
Bolt pattern is 75mm x 38mm
Pole spacing is 16mm

Because pictures are worth a thousand words, here's some shots with a scale for reference...

Are you gonna try reproducing the pickup too?
Maybe the EB-3 bridge pup as well?
I’ll be first inline for them if you do!
I have two random mudbuckers floating around. I don't know exact vintage. I plan to keep one, but the other is surplus if you would like it.
