I guess the down side is I now have an electronic signature floating around out there on somebody else's computer system. Hey, what could go wrong with that.o_O

Nothing like a data base with more personal information out there! I know people who deliberately put little bits of misinformation into each system that asks for it. It is always interesting to see where these bits appear.
Because stuff can happen:
Your legal pot buying data could get you banned from the U.S., lawyers warn
Just to be clear: I have never used any illegal substances before or after legalization, so this wouldn't affect me.

Indeed, I have filled out forms under the name Mr. Lemmy Motorhead and such just to track where my information was going.

I know someone who in their younger days put Cantonese as their first language on a census form.
10 years later during an appointment signing mortgage forms at a bank, it came up in the bank rep's file :wideyed:

Any particular reason? I like roto's but I've only played the swing 66's.
RS66 is the prefix for the Swing set, in other words, they're the same thing.
Particular reason?
1) No other string fits the Bird better as Birds were some of the early test beds for these strings.
2) The tension and bright response of stainless is unparalleled for long scales such as on Birds.
3) The brand is always consistent, you always get the same quality and characteristics.
4) Cheap.
5) Available everywhere globally.

Finally, it is probably the string that defined the TBird sound and brought it to it's current recognition status as I would be willing to bet more Tbirds out there, now and through time have worn these...

This said, this in my personal opinion and observations of course..

Thanks! One of the things I like about my house is that we don’t have any large trees within striking distance.
We used to be in a 1930’s house with a huge cedar about 15ft from the house. In windstorms you could see the roots pushing up the ground as the tree flexed.

Sorry to hear about the tornado. Is that a normal thing, having tornados?

Sydney has been hit with bad storms, including hail storms over the last week. Last Saturday my house received 6 broken windows from the hail. It was like a strafing (sp?) attack in a WW2 movie. One went right through the study window, through the study and came to rest in the hallway just at the bottom of the stairs. Must have been moving.

A town near me got hit again this Thursday with an officially declared “catastrophic hail storm”. Hail ranging from golf balls to cricket balls, one described as 8cm and spiky.

Trees. I love him trees but they have a bad habit of dropping limbs. Which can be dangerous. Lots of other trees uprooted, one next door spilt in half from the wind (don’t think it was the lightning).

Edit: gumtrees (eucalypts) are the ones that drop limbs.

Yikes! We have hail, but it's never broken windows around here.

Tornados are rare in this part of the world, but apparently there are a few minor ones per year. I believe the last recorded one that was strong enough to damage houses was in 1963.

I'm with you - I also love trees and being in the forest (to the point where my wife makes fun of me for it).

Here? No, that's not normal. This is the first time I can recall a tornado hitting anywhere in this part of the world. One of the things I miss about the midwest is thunderstorms. I don't miss tornado warnings.

We got some high winds in the last few days, and that is normal.

For what its worth, whatever hits Vancouver probably also hit Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia and the rest of this area. It almost ought to be its own country from that standpoint, because it's all got the same issues, at close to the same time.

I like trees better than people.

Rotosound RS66 religiously on all my Birds..

What gauge?

When It comes to shipping NEVER use Canada post. Always use someone else. I’m all for sticking it to the man... union up but on the flip side I’m surprised that people don’t just use someone else when they strike. Canada post employees and Canadians act like there is no other choice.... regular letter mail is one thing but shipping a package is shipping a package basically same cost.

100 - 40 on the standard tuned Birds
120 - 55 on my 2013 tuned BEAD

^+1 for Cascadia. The border is just a bureaucratic nuisance.

I like trees better than people.

^Trees are very rarely jerks. People on the other hand...

I have to totally agree, everything north of Eugene all the way to Vancouver feels like it's own separate country, one I'm very fond of..

You just want to buy your gasoline at Washington state prices rather than Vancouver prices... :D
