No joy on the audio. I do like to hear others original music. On this topic and within T-bird territory.., here's an example of collecting a bunch of particulars resulting in a great sounding bass. My Teiscobird, which I posted here at one point, has a mahogany body made in 1966 (Teisco Del Rey), a maple/rosewood Epi Goth neck (made within the last 8-10 years), a RI Guild Darkstar single-coil pu (2016), a Hipshot KA bridge, basic tuners, passive V/T 500k pots, and nickel RW strings. Nut is what came on the Goth neck.

I recorded last Sunday using it on this song. (original by my guitarist) No effects - d.i. straight to the board. Before the day of recording I tried a number of my basses at home to see which sounded best for the session. The Teiscobird won out.
im not getting it either. might be me, got new phone yesterday and things are a little wonky sometimes.fixed it
That sounds fantastic! It's exactly what a Precision is supposed to sound like in a mix, except better, more meat, more big round blue. I may start looking around for one of those pickups to put in the parts drawer for a future modification of something or build or who knows what.On this topic and within T-bird territory.., here's an example of collecting a bunch of particulars resulting in a great sounding bass. just in time for breakfast here.....
I'm up here in the Columbia Tower (teal lights in the background), looking down from a lofty perch at the Queen's inventory cache. The office will be moving down to Prefontaine, which is only two or three blocks from Seattle Lighting in a few months. Then I will have NO EXCUSES for not getting into Seattle Lighting on the way to Emerald City Guitars for a dose of refreshing reality of a different kind.
That's the other end of town, but the timing is right.just in time for breakfast here.....

My Casady had that problem. The screws would back out during gigs, but a bit of locktite on the threads solved it.those screws come loose frequently, the pickup then comes up closer to the strings and it starts sounding goosey....schmoe prolly got tired of that and replaced with bigger screws that won't allow for the original screw anymore..

I know SoundCloud is the hip thing, but it’s cool when it’s right here. Any other songs out there?
did we do away with our ritualistic initiations?? It was so fun making people do strange and tasteless things![]()
didn't even see that....dunno Larry.....
I think there is a bass somewhere under there.
or maybe all caught up with the Queen?..Last I recall, @JJR58 was in charge of initiations as part of his sucking up to the Queen. Perhaps he has been too busy dancing around a fire in his grass skirt to appropriately carry out his duties?
And that is worthy of it's own ahem.
or maybe allcaughttied upwithby the Queen?..
I'm not a sticker guy so I don't know. If you are going the sticker route, doesn't it make sense to put them on the front where they will be seen? Or is this like having the skull and crossed bones liner in the suit jacket?
