give this a listen or two....may help... then again it may not..I do the best my 'flip phone' allows. It works better outside in the bright sunlight. I don't.

I really like the wood on this bass, beautiful score!
Except when you tip them up to show off, then manage to mess up your settings and forgot where you put the piece of paper with your settings. Then you spend days trying to find just the right settings again. But it is all your own damned fault.
An artistic choice to put your subject in the bokeh.You're the master of "out of focus".
Just like jazz - just redefine your parameters and use some jargon to confuse.
I have a coupla nice 35mm Minoltas(film). I've been told I have a good eye for composition, depth of field, etc. I don't have sufficient need to invest a bunch of $$ in a digital body, even if I could use my lenses. Instead I could get the new Epi NR TBird II that's coming out soon.(TFIIC)You're the master of "out of focus".

I got pics of my settings cause my broken brain can't retain much. But the DG controls aren't all that free moving.
Those settings i care more about then the the H/LPF, that's an easy one to set.

@JJR58 and I have discussed this in the past. I too am a film aficionado - a couple of Nikon FEs, a couple of relatively modern point and shoots, and a Pentax 67 medium format. I can still get C41 developed (I cant get E6 kits anymore, but I still do B&W at home) and I have a dedicated film scanner. Maybe I need a film scanner with tubes just to maintain my old school aesthetic.

One day when I am in NYC, I'll break into your place, erase your photos and reset everything on your amp and pedals. Explain that one to the cops - no they didn't take anything, just changed my settings...
Yep. The high end drum scanners use photomultiplier tubes. There is no great solidstate replacement for a PMT. But CMOS CCDs are pretty good for home film work.
I'm using an old F2B, and a Fuji XT-1. Only lenses i use these days are 4 Nikkor lenses.
As far as E6 processing goes. There are a lot of labs here in NYC that do it. Not sure how you feel about mailers with your film though. I guess in that respect, i have the luxury of actually going to the lab itself.

Yeah, I have a shipload of slides I shot in Navy days, most of which will never be seen(slide projector 'died'). And a more/less equal number of prints-mostly of my daughter growing up-and trains, mostly at operating RR museums. Both are projects I intend to attend to 'someday'.
my mom had some slides converted to tape sometime ago...I got to see my sissy when she was 2....pretty awesome..
Yeah, I could use mailers. But I used to do E6 at home. E6 evolved from E4 which was always intended to be a home process whereas C41 was always intended to be an industrial process (developed for the motion picture industry).
