Eminence Beta drivers are what's in the Tower of Jank these days. They work reasonably well, despite the fact that the cabinet was originally intended to be used for vocals. It's getting used for that purpose, not bass, at the moment. It's got a vented back, what more does anybody need to know about speaker design?

What I should do is: chase down whose speakers are in my SWR.
I blew a couple GK 10s in my SBX cabinets and replaced them with Eminence drivers - they're *okay* but didn't sound anything like what I get out the SWR - Thus the SBX's are on consignment at The Bass Shop!

That cab is tighter than Mother Superior, love it! The s/n is 0239, so it's likely pretty early production, thanks for the tip on the Eden speakers, now I can go on a quest for them.

Looks like the Telebird I built, only better, because it has an f-hole. My Telebird is currently a baritone guitar, so it's not quite just a guitar. It also has a Bigsby. Yeah, I know - photos...What do you guys think of this body design? Yes, I know it's a guitar.

I like that. Not everything, but I do like that
If I do one of these, I would try to push the control plate back and have it join with the pickguard in the traditional Tele layout.
