Completely different animals. The plexi is a Mann copy: 2 piece maple neck, 70’s Japanese humbucker at the neck, Schector hot guitar PU at the bridge, a hip shot bridge (the one meant for 60’s Gibson’s) and Dean Markley nickel rounds.

The sound is clean and articulate even though it’s a short scale. It’s a very comfortable neck(tung oil), but it’s a 10 pounder.

I’m filling in on bass with my daughter’s rock band tonight, so I’ll record with the zoom.

Ok, so near as I can figure, guitarist does expert recordings of sheep being shorn. I suppose the recordings are sold at adult stores in New Zealand.

I am no closer to understanding than earlier.
Maybe an expert marksman that can shoot the wool off a sheep?
And “Aotearoa” cannot be a real place except in a Tolkien novel.
I am grateful that my toilet flushes in the correct direction.

I used to own an Italia bass. They're MIK, not Italy. They look pretty cool, but honestly? I'd go for the Embassy.
