EB-0 is short scale where EB-3 is long scale, so neck dive is more prominent on the 3 than the 0, although the 0 still has a bit, it's far less worse then 3. The necks are very similar to thunderbirds (2011/12 & on epi bolt on birds - except the goth series - & classic pro/gibson post 88 birds), slim & fast to play, i've yet to play one with sharp fret ends Eb-3 is set neck, eb-0 is bolt on with the strap pin on the top right neck plate screw. Aesthetics, the 3 has trapezoid inlays, the 0 has dot inlays. Eb-3 has more tonal options cause it's two pickup unlike the single pickup 0, but in my share of playing a few, i find the bridge pup solo isn't the best tone, both or just the neck have good tones, but the bridge is pretty "thin" for lack of better word.
Personally, i'd go with the EB0 cause i believe that SG body shaped basses should be short scale (long scale just seems weird for the body shape + neck dive), & if you want to add a bridge pickup for more tones, you can choose anything

!. But try them both, only you can truly decide for yourself.
What hurts to modify en Epi EB-0 with a bridge pickup? Serve as backup for the SG bass
