Thunderbird Club

I had a Jazz, sold it didn't like it. I only have 1 7ender now 82 American Bullet with tele headstock. Just keep it because I think it's cool and don't see to many of them anymore. Some of those jazz guys get their feelings hurt real quick lol.
You not enjoying the "Purity" kick they're on now? All I have is a Modern Player short scale Jazz, and don't think it'll actually pass muster at this point.

At least here my SS Gibson TBird and the parts TBird are still included in the family. Haven't gotten my Thanksgiving dinner invite yet though.

I'll have to look at that.............................I just can't even imagine anybody getting that excited about one of those things :roflmao:
I have a couple

(Ducks, looks to see if clear)

I don't understand the pissing match over 2 brands of the same flavor.
I own a Gibson and a Fender
I own a Epiphone and 3 Squiers.

Who cares what brand it is if you're a jerk. You're still a jerk.

Why do I go out in general population?

Lol I went over and looked that's quite comical. Holy cow what a crazy couple of pages. Wow.
You should have heard the boos I hit when I said my 70's and 80's American made peaveys were head and shoulders above the Jazz I had and the American Jazz I almost bought. I was spewing pure heresy! They were really mad.

Yeah, it's rapidly rolling down the tracks to Crazy Town. Mine's impure because it's made in China and even more sacrilegious it's a short scale.

I still ask myself that very question :D & Speaking of Jazz basses, i played a few, friends & in store. There's only one that i really enjoyed playing was my friends cheap copy cause the neck profile was like a pbass but jazz width & the weight that thing had was almost like my thunderbird which i like :P. But i'd never own a jazz for myself no matter how many times i may see one & think. When it comes to Fender, Precision is my bass of choice.

& thus ends my jazz talk, today i blacken the bird! So off with the white plastic wing stabilizer & onto the paint!

I was initially concerned when I sold mine, but I'm glad it's gone now. I don't even miss it.

Aesthetically they just never appealed to me, while I don't mind a 7ender P, my first bass was a P and a few years later bought another one. One is gone and one remains but again,
just never warmed up to them enough to be my main bass. My Tbirds and BCRich's are my workhorses. My Hamer Blitz's would be too if they weren't so cumbersome to travel with, you
practically need pall bearers to haul the cases around! :)

Do epis count?
