He finally found a way to distract away from his voice. That guitar "solo" at the end of the clip is horrible!!! Sorry, just never been a fan of NY regardless of the energy/drive/power he might be working with. But if this had a strong connection and made an impact on you, that is a cool thing in my book. That's all we can ask from the music we enjoy.

Music touches us all in different ways - and we are so lucky there is so much music out there for everyone to identify with/like/enjoy. Many guitar players dislike NY's approach to guitar. Many people dislike NY's voice. Some people even dislike his songwriting. Only speaking for myself - I first saw him with The Buffalo Springfield on TV in the late 60's and was instantly hooked by their "look& feel", partially due to being from the mid-west. Crazy Horse, CSN&Y, After The Gold-Rush, and many albums unremarkable to certain keystones like Decade and Harvest. When you 'follow' someone you like, you can either slavishly buy everything or pick and choose. I don't own everything NY has produced. I do own many of the highlights from TBS's on. I'd only attempt to explain the depth of why I like a song like "Like A Hurricane" to someone receptive. Why bother otherwise. As a parallel example - I like some of Rush's performances on youtube, don't own any of it, and respect them without question. Like I said - something for everybody.

As we all end up looking at the far side of the coil. That phrase "hope I die before I get old" epitomizes the fantasy of being a 'good-looking corpse'. To address another cliché - those who are "survivors" create their art longer. In my book that's a win. Long live Neil Young.

You know you're making a solid argument for the US to build a northern wall don't you? Please keep that kind of talent north of the border. Well, scratch that. Given some of our wonderful talent that is infecting the world, possibly Canada should consider a wall.

I'm completely spoiled now. Played one of my favorite Pbasses ('64) this weekend and while I loved playing it, I was missing a Thunderbird of some species.

I must also be getting stupid. My wife talked me into a good deal on a one session used Mackbook Pro from Nashville. Nice price and a massive 1 TB HD, only 5 battery cycles and some gadget I have no idea what all it does ($199 new). Now I'm spending time trying to really figure this out and get it set up for work. All my Word macros have to be rebuilt..... Suppose it will be nice when I get used to it. With the big HD I even partitioned some for Windows 10 for things I might need that OS for. I'd rather be working on basses.

Absolutley spot on. I respect just about everyone's musical taste (unless they profess a fancy for Disco Duck or Muskrat Love).

I like the Police, or at least the first 3 albums. But after Sting left, I didn't care for his solo music. But there was one song that struck me.

A good example of an artist who has an international 'following' to speak about more than girl-boy relationships. It's not "Roxanne" - but it's saying something.

It is now 1 1/2” at the center and I’ll be putting an 1/8” cap on the front so it will be 1 5/8”
The wings taper from 1 5/16” to 1 3/16.
That’s pretty close to my VP, which actually varies quite a bit.

My '64 is closer to 1-3/8" at the thickest. (strap-peg at the heal) The perimeter of the wings is 1"
