Thunderbird Club

All this martini talk reminds me that someday I still want to get my hands on a first series Dargie Delight Stingray or Bongo bass that came with the cute little martini glasses as fretboard markers and the metallic olive Green body paint like this...

Except I'd replace the stock Black pickguard with a bright red pimento color pickguard. It would be the perfect lounge lizard bass. :roflmao:

The T bird has become my #1 and especially with the full band. ‘92ish Orville picked up about 2 years ago and it hits hard in the mix. Great weight/feel too. The custom shop p, ric 4003s and others have been case queens lately. You guys just might be onto something here..View attachment 3573773

This just warms my heart! :bassist:

I hear that PG&E have announced a new round of blackouts in N California. Hope everyone is prepared and gets through it.
They just announced them for parts of SoCal also. Missed my house by two blocks. Don't even get me started on what a brain dead policy this is vs just trimming the trees like they used to do for the last hundred plus years.:rollno:

That's a great idea, wish I'd thought of it. ;)

I don't drink a lot of sodas, but when I do, it's typically diet with about 10% something with real cane sugar. Or occasionally a root beer or Dr Pepper with real cane sugar. In a glass bottle. Nothing else tastes the same.

I don't often drink cola, but when I do, I drink Coca Cola. Stay thirsty my friend. . .
