Thunderbird Club

Ah, I thought you were referring to an alcoholic beverage. Well to me, the most delicious beverage on the planet Earth is Coca Cola. (Uh oh, I just started a Coke vs Pepsi WAR!)

A Swiss cyclist friend turned me onto a concoction euro cyclist drink referred to as "diesel" which is half CC and half beer. After a good ride (workout) - it hits the spot. I've experimented with a few different beers, but Anchor, Fat-Tire and similar beers work best for me.

Hey, I'm as flappable as the next Thunderbird player...

I assume flappable mean intelligent, strong, well spoken, and attractive to potential mates.

I reiterate - :vomit:

I won't go near it for a few reasons... kombucha that is.

It’s a thunderous THUNDERBIRD Thursday in about three hours here in Cali!

He pops in randomly but I don't think he tries to keep up with all the pages anymore. It got tough to keep up at a certain point as the post count would skyrocket several days a week. He started backing off a little at that time IIRC.
Pretty sure he checked in after August. I think he pays attention when someone wants to ask him something.

A vodka Martini isn't a Martini though! ( Uh oh, this could start a heated debate! ).
Well.., JB ordered vodka martini's whether considered a martini or not. Just sayin'... :)
JB wasn't ALWAYS right, just almost always right. Vodkatini is the correct term. I like my dry Martini's with a dash of dry vermouth, and a little dirty, and always with either 1 or 3 olives. 2 olives is unlucky. :roflmao:
one martini, two martini, three martini....

All this martini talk reminds me that someday I still want to get my hands on a first series Dargie Delight Stingray or Bongo bass that came with the cute little martini glasses as fretboard markers and the metallic olive Green body paint like this...

Except I'd replace the stock Black pickguard with a bright red pimento color pickguard. It would be the perfect lounge lizard bass. :roflmao:

The T bird has become my #1 and especially with the full band. ‘92ish Orville picked up about 2 years ago and it hits hard in the mix. Great weight/feel too. The custom shop p, ric 4003s and others have been case queens lately. You guys just might be onto something here..View attachment 3573773
Don't say to much, else everyone will want one. Why do you think we perpetuate the myth that headstocks pop off at the least provocation?

I always really liked the Bongo basses. Too bad or good thing they're supposed to be really heavy and not available left-handed.
