Thunderbird Club

Left shoulder repair now scheduled for 1st week of February. Left thumb - still looking for a plastic surgeon with enough knowledge/experience in hand surgery for that repair.

My plan B - yelling at kids to get off my lawn, shouting at clouds that offend me, and explaining to children that music attained perfection in 1974.
At some point soon I will need to have my left shoulder checked out. The right elbow is also giving grief.
I agree on 1974. I have convinced my daughter to listen to Black Sabbath albums up to Sabotage, so that’s a win!

Chapman Stick. That's my plan B.
Wanna buy my Kee Bass?:smug:

Yeah, I have a right elbow issue as well. The ulnar nerve is inflamed, probably from intermittent compression. Rather than surgery, I have opted for watchful waiting to see where it goes. I also think I have the same injury in my right shoulder as in the left. Waiting on an MRI for the definitive diagnosis.

Fortunately, my knees only have intermittent problems; probably not arthritic yet.

I dislocated my right shoulder 6 times from the ages of 17-21. Hasn't been the same since. Once in a while it really acts up. Especially with the weather here in NY right now. And i'm not really into the surgery thing. So i just deal with it when it flares up.

This is why God gave us Advil tm.

Yeah, not an option anymore. I have done many injuries to both shoulders over the years. The last on the left and right were the proverbial straw that broker the camel's back. The pain is no longer intermittent.

You would be amazed what gravity does to the body slowly but surely along with redundant reputatious movement. I believe I would have been in traction already if it weren't for my inversion bench, just doing it once or twice a day REALLY helps, I also avoided carpul tunnel surgery just by using my left hand at work for mouse clicks... changing it up & reversing gravity does wonders...

I am a big fan of Aleve (it is chemically related to Advil). I have been taking it daily for 2 years and still have breakthrough pain. There are adverse effects associated with long term use that are beginning to be problematic to me.
Yeah, good ol' Naproxen ain't bad. Being cheap, I, of course, go for the Walmart generic versions.

I never had any real injuries, but the years of working with and carrying tools seem to have taken their toll. As much as I enjoy being on the tools, its a good thing I have a design/management job now.
