Gots to be the most graceful airliner ever. There's one here in FL at Kermit Weeks' "Fantasy of Flight". Also, fwiw, a Sunderland-flyable.(Not the most graceful)
We were driving I-4 by there one day and I looked up at this fairly small biplane of a type I'd never seen IRL and I said to my 'bitter half' "that's a Bucker Jungmeister". Googled it later. Yup! Kermit likes to fly them whenever he can. He has a few 'ride-along' videos on YT.Gots to be the most graceful airliner ever. There's one here in FL at Kermit Weeks' "Fantasy of Flight". Had to look up what a Sunderland was. Nope, not graceful.Gots to be the most graceful airliner ever. There's one here in FL at Kermit Weeks' "Fantasy of Flight". Also, fwiw, a Sunderland-flyable.(Not the most graceful)

Thunderbirds with straps on.
Show em if ya got em!
...or shoes that match your bird...
Never saw them live so can’t comment in that. But the moniker was attached to Skynyrd, and they certainly worked hard.not disrespecting (grew up on Skynyrd, in my top 5 list) Aerosmith fits that bill better imho..
No, but it'll float longer than a Connie.Had to look up what a Sunderland was. Nope, not graceful.
Hmm. How's about a brushed aluminum PG for the silverburst? Just sayin'.My 3 epi-birds round out my 5 Gibsons. A Korean burst (with dual sb-4s) and a silver-burst that have swapped out scratch plates. Not sure I like it; I may just switch them back. The white one is a $85 goth that was really, really beat up. Some bondo and appliance paint plus sb-4 pups. That white one sounds extra good for some reasons unknown. One time I had a beach gig, surf was up, salt in the air. Took that white one and it was sweet.

maybe in your neck of the woods...growing up in southern FLA where the most listened bands were Skynyrd, Outlaws, Blackfoot, Hachet, Marshall Tucker, Allman Bros, etc... Aerosmith, were the ones that carried the American Rolling Stones banner....they were also viewed as a Yankee band which of course they were..Never saw them live so can’t comment in that. But the moniker was attached to Skynyrd, and they certainly worked hard.
This reminds me - I need to put tapes on the '15 and see how that works....and now something completely different...

Sometimes mutts are the best dogs, too. Don't mess with magic. Just enjoy it when it happens....The white one is a $85 goth that was really, really beat up. My left hand is killing me this week. I can’t even close it.I can barely play the upright these days due to shoulder/elbow/hand issues. But my kid plays it!
At some point I’m going to repair a 1/2 size I have.
Chapman Stick. That's my plan B.My left hand is killing me this week. I can’t even close it.
Not looking forward to the day when physical issues force me to stop playing.![]()
You can always stop in for a bit. Chances are we will be here. Besides, no Thunderbird is a temporary condition, as I discovered. Once you have been chosen, you will come back to them eventually.I regret to say i've left the Thunderbird club. Traded my bird for an Allen Woody yesterday.
There will still always be a place in my heart for those sexy beasts.
