That reminds me: I gotta do my fretboards again. Found a very useful video on how to w/o removing the strings. Involves wax paper between the strings and the paper towel with the conditioner. Works great.

I have slots in each side of the neck cradle (you can just see it in the EBO pic). I loosen the strings and pull them down into the slots. That holds them off the fingerboard.
Then hit it with 0000 steel wool and lemon oil.
