Oh, my post was right after gaffster, who mentioned Black Swan. Should have quoted gaffster.
I meant that the Black Swan video was a nice sound sample/promotional for TBirds.

If so, just like with effect pedals, signal chains vary so much that I rarely find them useful.

That's why I said "often".
I do love a well-made A-B test with "everything else the same".

Watched it as an hour and half to kill until teatime documentary and it was perfect.

It was. Was trying to get an earfull of Dusty tones, I read somewhere he has some octave pedal as an always-on thing, but all I heard was treble unt zing.

Saw there's a Marshall Major for fairly cheap near me, might need to go check that out, though I'm torn between that and saving for a Hiwatt...
