Thunderbird Club

Perhaps try New Year's Day (U2). A song that the bass carries, is easy for most people (even millennials) to recognize, and is easier to play on a THUNDERBIRD that many might think. The verse is R & 3rd through Am C Em and the chorus pedals 8ths.

Great Jazz Bass growl. :bassist:

Really? I've only seen him with FSO's. 'Course, admittedly, they come on, I change channels. Then again, they prolly don't care much

My heritage is predominantly Irish. I can't stand U2. Maybe if he played a THUNDERBIRD?..........Nah. Just don't like their music.

I used to commonly say; "I'd like to be the bass player for U2 - not very hard work for A LOT of money". But not slagging them, I wouldn't know who they were if a lot of people didn't like them.

yeah, at least Cliff Williams sings..
Well, so do I-sorta. Actually, I've been told by people who've seen our vids that they think I've got the "best" voice in the band. That's kinda scary, but most people don't like their own voice as they hear it, so...uh,.... er,...whatever.

I like your singing
Thanks. I guess my saving grace is that I have the cojones to do it even if I make a foole(sic)* of myself.
ETA: while playing my 1967 NR THUNDERBIRD IV [took awhile to pull up the pic] the hat is commemorative of my first 'boat'

It's ok, you don't have to mention T-birds here. (oops, wrong thread!)
