Sounds like James Brown tribute band.
You have basses and the internet for entertainment (Errmmmm...) , looks like you're all set. Hand lotion?
Hang in there! At least you have your basses! I recognize the one![]()

I love some of the rear windows from the late 60s early 70s. Cars were a work of art then.nothing like “Classic” rear windows...

Maybe you just needed a left handed Thunderbird! The great lefty experiment has closed with neither a positive nor negative result. The lefty bass was returned to L&M this morning.
Abstract
Testing the hypothesis that a right handed bassist, suitably motivated, could learn to play lefty. The subject withdrew consent early negating the ability to form conclusions. Neither the hypothesis nor the null hypothesis could be confirmed. The experiment lacked positive and negative controls and thus would be best described as exploratory.
Discussion
Although I can hold a bass, I can't reach the lower frets nor can I tune. But, I can play some. Playing lefty because frustrating. I expected to make some reasonable progress, however just laying scales remained a challenge. Perhaps I would have done better if I had followed a curse of instruction starting at the basics. But, I couldn't stomach time in the sandbox; I was looking to be able to do something, even if simple relatively soon. It is a frustration borne of being able to do things right handed.
I suppose it is like when a golfer decides to learn to play their opposite hand. They can have widely disparate handicaps depending upon which way they are laying. I seem recall that in the 80s there was a golfer who was a pro right handed and an amateur left handed.
Conclusion
It is difficult and frustrating to learn your instrument opposite handed. But, if you have time to burn and are looking for a pointless project...

Some Millennials will be confused about why there is a stick coming from the floor with a cue ball with lines on.Well, might be confused about cue ball as well, come to think of it.

I have as many basses with dead spots as I do without dead spots. My MIM P is weak at C on G. Not dead. It’s weak at C# on my Deluxe Precision. The ‘15 and the NR have a barely perceptible weak spots at the same place, but I can’t really notice them. My bolt-ons are the same, The Goth maybe being the most noticeable of the three. None of them bother me. And you have to go listening for them to even know about them. I suppose if it was really noticeable on a bass, I might be discouraged with it, but none of my basses bug me like that.
My Foundation is the only bass I have that I can truthfully say has no difference in resonance or sustain on any note on any string. The neck on it amazing.
My 1965 Mustang didn't have air conditioning but did have a good size vent box under the passenger side dash. It could hold a six pack but I just kept a pint of Youkon Jack in it.I know. That was the coolest looking thing about that car.
Well, it did have front vents that were under the dash that were small boxes with doors. Made for great hidden beverage refrigerators in the Winter. Three cans per side.
way ahead of you, don't underestimate them..They may begin to learn what this ball represents...
