Thunderbird Club

OK, I have finished scotch night with the boys - house arrest edition.

If anyone is interested int eh L&M Gibson night video presentation, it is here:

Sorry - yeah, it's a facebook thing. Go to about 45 minutes in for the Thunderbird question.

Ahhh the question was asked and there was no answer. We are just going to have to build our own NRs.

Who has a “blueprint”?

He was cagy. He could not say "no" meaning that the answer is definitely yes. It is all just a matter of late this year, next model year, or maybe 2022. And the whole "exciting things for bass players" can only mean NR Thunderbird.

I kinda dig these knobs, I didn't like how I couldn't see the reference lines on the originals.

Believe it or not, but my '64 came with these instead of the typical knobs (according to the guy to bought it from the original owner and knew him when he bought it). Must have been a Friday and they just grabbed what was handy. I like them better.

About Mar 20, we should have bought a bunch of Gibson stock (about $12), had a hostile takeover and forced our will. (And made Epiphone the parent company just for fun!)

I'm liking this idea.

It is on my list of things to get done when I am richer.

Gibson by Epiphone,
a PillO Watermelon company.

And I am due to make a killing on the cheese futures market... Yeah, I am not only interested in melons.

Ok, I have to say this at the beginning. We are not pushing for a watermelon shaped VP, NR or otherwise. We're just not.

That's a tough one. The creme knobs are ok but work better with a different colour pg. Black? ...or I hate to say it, tort? :bag:...even white... I think the white pg on it now is either too white, or the knobs should be darker creme. (like the finish) I'll leave now... ;)

So those are V/V/T knobs? I haven't found V/B/T yet
