When listening to MP3s set to a random order, it disrupts the flow, although that works well enough in the van when I don't feel like listening to the local Spanish language commercial radio station.

He really was! I saw them in September of 1973, just days after I started college. They blew me away. My first big name act. EWF played before them; that was the concert I've talked about where Verdine White danced through the crowd shirtless, made out with a woman for a while, and danced back to the stage without missing a beat.
We wore that album, Look at Yourself, and the live album out over the next couple of years.

The live album may be the best one produced from that era. Good recording, great songs from beginning to end. The classic Heep lineup. “Friday Night in Birmingham!”

My own cellar of ill-conceived notions has low ceilings as well. I have not bumped my head because I can't do rock'n'roll jumps anymore lest my knees hurt for the remainder of the day. But more than one headstock has made contact. No injured headstocks; I've been lied to about that and I'm not happy about it. I fully expected to have a collection of severed headstocks by now.

I had a music room like that but the angled parts went all the way to the floor. Kept bean bags in it for more laid back practice. (Oh, wait. I have those in my current music room, too.) I had to make sure I didn't leave pedals or anything under the skylight because it leaked a bit during heavy thunderstorms. Being in Atlanta, we got more than a few of those.

OT1H, I am unlikely to hit my head on the ceiling in the Room of Requirement. OTOH, once I install a ceiling fan, there may be issues. OTGH, I have whacked the ceiling with my VP's headstock a couple of times when I wasn't thinking about how I was taking it (the VP, not the ceiling) off over my head.
