Thunderbird Club

Happy TT y'alls.

Using the old girl today to track bass lines on a Boss RC-3. I'll use those tracks in my covers/originals duo in which I play guitar and some keys, giving bottom and groove when needed. She sounds real good backing acoustic guitar, 1st time I've done so with a Tbird.

Cheers,

Hey T-Bird club. I shared about this bass a while back, but now it's pretty much complete. It's a Bluesman Vintage Deville T2. Should be in my hands next week. Those gorgeous Lollar T-Bird pickups qualify me to post it here...lol. Really excited about this one.
I doubt that you will get any arguments from any of us. We have a fairly open ended idea of what qualifies.

All good Larry.
He's my cuz's pooch, lives out in Jersey. I'm not aloud anywhere, no one wants me near them.
If we lost him, we'd be devastated.
We we're just playing that day. :)

Oh good. That's the kind of missing him that's not as bad.

yeah, miss Rocco....sorry Jeff...

Sorry about, Rocco, Chuck. He looks like he could've demolished a bowl of macaroni and meatballs! :D

Happy Thunderbird Thursday everyone. I hope all are staying well and adjusting to these unusual times. I am getting more comfortable working from home and suspect as soon as I actually start to enjoy it the stay home order will be lifted.
Read through a post earlier this week about the perceived differences between Thunderbirds and Explorers. I realized I played mine in awhile, so she has been front and center lately. Forgot how much I enjoy playing her. They are a unique instrument. Perhaps an acquired taste, but great fun to play. As with the Thunderbirds, loads of personality and tone for days. Here is a family photo from last night.
Stay well everyone.
Yeah I always had a thing for em too!! & I'm not the only one...

Honestly, don't know if the Kid Rock connection helps or hurts the value of this, but looking forward to the coming responses of "you can't use guitar cabs for bass!" I've used them for a couple years and they sound great for bass, as long as you don't want to hit the Brown note.

For Sale - Crate 4x12 Cabs

And I'll throw in the T-Bird porn from the add (think the 'bird will help be enticing?)
