I would be interested in hearing that instrument's p'up configuration.

Like Tom Petersson's would be even better!
Ha! Simple. I don't want to become an internet sensation and "influencer." I'm sure the fame would go to my head.Rub it in why don’t ya. You should post a vid like @godofthunder59 occasionally does. I’d love to hear it in action.
It's a maple neck/ash wing Tbird I built myself years ago. I found my last post about it to save some typing:I may have missed something as I have to blast through some posts to catch up, What bass is that? The wood (ahem) looks real smooth and nice(wondering what type it is). Please post more pictures, Im very curious. Got my ears perked up!
Not exactly my target sound either, actually not even close.?...
It's personal preference and what one is shooting for band context wise--but I'm eternally thankful none of my Thunderbirds ever sounded like that clip.

I've bought a number of guitars and basses from them, always great to deal with, rarely the lowest price but usually very high quality. Unfortunately the one in Carmel closed a while ago. I made it a tradition to stop in and buy a bass there every time I was in the neighborhood. IIRC they're just down to one store now vs the three they used to have.By the way, Rumble Seat Music is a cool place to visit and not far from Gruhn's. Premo vintage instruments. More like a museum.
Nice bass! Nice blue!Hey T-Bird club. I shared about this bass a while back, but now it's pretty much complete. It's a Bluesman Vintage Deville T2. Should be in my hands next week. Those gorgeous Lollar T-Bird pickups qualify me to post it here...lol. Really excited about this one.
Let's not leave out Thunderbird loving Cat people, they're pretty cool too...Thunderbird people are great! Thunderbird people who are dog people are all that and then some!

(not my cat, just a cutie on the interwebs. My last kitty was a Manx named Sammie , looked like a bobcat)
Not mine. My girlfriend's. A newly-adopted 6 month old chihuahua/mini-dobermann mix named Lily. She's a sweetheart:...and if you don't like Thunderbirds OR Dogs then "ppplaaattt" to you...

The bass has landed and is about to have a chrome swap with his silver burst. He threw on some gold dials after putting it together and he also said the action was great.
Not sure about you guys, but I hate the time in between shipping a bass and having the bass delivered. So many things can go wrong... this transaction went great!

Beautiful. Australian Shepherd? And our little girl says hi back at ya...
