The one thing I always wished for in Thunderbirds was nicer inlays than dots. Dots are so boring. I'd prefer none at all compared to that.

Welcome aboard! Always room for more bird lovers, especially from the great state of CA. The only true hard and fast rule we have around here is don't waste your time on the search function, if you have a question ask it and plenty of experts will gladly chime in.

BTW - Happy New bass day on the TBird Pro. I've never played one, but they sure look nice.

Off the ventilator for now, turns out the very early SVT-IIs suffered shorts to the chassis because they used bottom case screws (6/32s) that were too long and would touch the pcb ass’y.....the factory probably ran out of the correct part but had a revenue hole to fill...(happens often)...
The guys at Ampeg (Line 6) were very gracious in forwarding the Ampeg corrective action bulletin that includes a couple of more items as well, after hinting that the product is not really supported any longer...oh well, at least the power amp’s running now..
