"We don't need no stinkin'............." Never mind.Amazing how many cannot or will not follow instructions...
It seems to me that when it was new(to me)they both worked OK. And I may have had the neck pot replaced. I'm 'blessed' with CRAFT.*I joke about it a lot 'cos I like the tone without it, but I think I may have a shot pot. I don't care about getting it looked into since I'm happy with the bass as is. "If it ain't broke...."
yup, was gonna ask you. Iirc, the BaCH logo seems different than on the later ones too..Looks like the thinner body version.

Let me get a screwdriver and dislodge some of it and get back to you.Any of that asbestos?![]()
Your heirs phone number would be again…? Not rushing you or anything.'preciate the offer, but 'cept for the PG-and I have the original-I'm leaving it stock 'til I sell it or "buy the farm". In which case my heirs will do something stupid with it.
Are you really Red Green?Real men don't need instructions.
Instructions are just some guys opinion of what you might try if you get stuck.
You do know that Red Green was a documentary, right? Are you really Red Green?
Don't those already have clovers though? But, I'm sure you are right about that.Bet it's not a problem on a VP.
It wasn't my wedding, but we carried all of her gear for her. Of course, I always carried all of her gear for her. She's about half my size. It was an amazing performance though, what with getting stung and playing right through it. I'm looking forward to coming up from this COVID thing and being able to see the members of that band. We don't play as a band these days, but have remained pretty close friends anyway.Did y'all tip her extra?
I just learned something. I love the educational aspects of the Thunderbird Club. It's more of an issue with guitars, but as you roll off the volume, a pot by itself cuts the treble from the pickup as well. The caps on the volume pot let the treble through.

I would start with pickups...Lollars, Thunderbuckers, Lulls, Chinabuckers... some great vintage sounding pups available..What do you need to get a modern thunderbird to sound like a vintage?
