Which Pistols songs have you been learning?Uh, I was talking about Sheryl Crow and the Sex Pistols. You’re on your own with your Britney fascination.

Talked my brother into doing Submission. Takes perhaps 10 minutes to learn. Just power chords and attitude.Which Pistols songs have you been learning?
Cool! I’ve always thought there’s an art to imparting feel into simple songs though to make them sound right.Talked my brother into doing Submission. Takes perhaps 10 minutes to learn. Just power chords and attitude.
Find the key and chords and away we go. Pistols songs are easy to learn, fun to play and a lot of them are still relevant today.Talked my brother into doing Submission. Takes perhaps 10 minutes to learn. Just power chords and attitude.
Playing Ramones stuff was like running wind sprints. That’s why their shows tended to be pretty short. They weren’t like the Clash who would do a 15 minute reggae jam for a break.Cool! I’ve always thought there’s an art to imparting feel into simple songs though to make them sound right.
A band I was in used to do a couple of Ramones covers - I Wanna Be Sedated & I Believe in Miracles - simple songs but if you play them the way Uncle Johnny precribed, downpicking only and constant 8th notes on the hi-hats, at speed, it’s a real stamina test!!!
This is one of my Ramones favourites, although I could only find footage of CJ performing it ( not that that’s a bad thing). I love the part where it gets to the break point and he wanders off, swigs a beer and then... 1-2-3-4! I must add this song to my learning list...Playing Ramones stuff was like running wind sprints. The white LEs had the same PUPs. I was hoping this video might help. My German is a bit rusty though.
I’m going to have to see what I can find out about the different pickups. A quick google search took me to an old TB post and a red LE our Queen posted.

It looks like different pickups were used in some of the Limited Editions. I’ll say this, whatever is in the Silverburst sound great.
I am going to guess that the TV designation came from the same place as TV yellow. Back in the days of B&W TV, white did not show up well because it was a highlight that got blown out. The camera needed something a bit duller to render properly.
Tell you what Plaid, happy to trade my Silverburst straight up for your 67 NR. Just let me know....I’ll even cover shipping for both. How can you resist such a deal?

One of my fave Pistols tunes ever.
OK, who said Rush was difficult?Clearly Neal didn't need all those drums.
Darn kids.
I noticed the way that young lady slung her bass that she's a prime candidate for a TBird.Wow!
And the most important criterion - playable by those of us who are talent-deficient.Find the key and chords and away we go. Pistols songs are easy to learn, fun to play and a lot of them are still relevant today.
Yeah I wouldn’t want that. What strings are you using?Didn't work on my bird. Took 2-3 ball ends per string, and no ball ebne I had would fit the E; I had to use several 8/24 (IIRC) nuts. It was ludicrous looking.

So much cool stuff in that photo. But what's the fourth knob on the Fenderbird?I bought that bass with the sole notion of making a 7enderbird out of it...….
Thinking I may have to try again sometime.

I meant different to the usual T’bird pup shape. Was it only the silverbursts & TV Silvers that got the chrome guitar pickups ?
I don't think it's a family, but really don't know for sure. I would hate to think all that talent is in that one tiny gene pond! There is another clips of them, some with different members. I think it's a school.
Love mine and to me it looks like an old tube tv screen when off.
I'm holding out for a Gold Bullion with gold hardware and a black pickguard as a Non Reverse match to my Gibby Anniversary Bird...So, I've pretty much decided that I want my Epi RI, VP, NR, TBII/IV in Silverburst.![]()
