Not LPB Jag..but how about a British racing green Jag View attachment 4026176 View attachment 4026178 View attachment 4026184 with a matching headstock? Cheers!
i Recognise your sticker you’ve cut it out of a warning sticker I used to do the same and put them on pretty much any flat surface lol bikes bedroom petrol scooters school books all over the place, tell me if I’m wrong but I’m not am I

A LPB Jag with matching headstock would absolutely cause me GAS.
Oh Jaguar 6 string I meant I suppose a bass would still look nice but the jag guitars do look soooo cool with matching headstock and the bridge bling pre 67 model to the block inlays don’t do much for me should only be on gibsons and rics oh and gretsch guitars but inlays on fenders look cheap in my honest opinion

Thunderbirds, boats and crabs - What could be more fun!
All you need now is a guitar playing friend with a boat and a drummer friend with a boat. Tie all three boats together in the middle of the bay and jam away. Even meets the social distancing guidelines.
So long as it's the right kind of crabs...... I heard those little suckers are a nightmare. No personal experience here whatsoever with the little ones. Love the big ones.

House update. Listing went live Monday early afternoon. Had one showing that evening and five the next afternoon through evening. Received one offer $5k over asking price (which we accepted) and received a "backup" (their word) today. That's a relief. You never know what weird piece of news (true or not) that will spook the market and scare buyers.

I could see offering it at cost to ship, nothing more. Frankly, I find it offensive IMO..
I suspect that it was bought broken and parted out. I expect that he/she has more than gotten his/her cash out from the hardware. I agree that it is poor taste to try to charge that much for something that is probably not reparable. I think this is more than a repair project - probably easier to build a new bird from lumber.

@KaraQ
This rescue project has your name all over it...

Looks like it needs a good home where it can be mended and sing strong once again.

Ouch! That's a pretty bad break...but I'll look into it when I get home from work in the AM. Bit pricey, but says open to offers...

Not sure if I have the ability to repair one that bad, but I've got most of what I would need (soon to have extra set of tuners, and a bridge if I wanted to switch it to a 3-point...), except for pickups. But might be better to saw off what's left of the neck (by a professional! ) and make it a bolt-on...with a custom neck of some sort.

Like I need another project! :spit:

Ok, i'm late as always. Who? @PillO?

Uh, ok... Slowly backing out.

And where's Vince?

A Vince sighting is more rare than a JJR58 sighting these days. I do see him randomly on FB tho.

Thats great!! We hit the market Friday morning, had a full price offer Saturday morning along with a couple other less competitive offers. Home inspection is scheduled for Monday. Hoping they don't find any surprises we aren't aware of. We take care of the place but you just never know whats behind the walls. Hoping everything goes great with your deal as well!!

Great news about the sale!
When we sold our house in KY seven years ago the same thing happened to us, three offers in the first 24 hours, one at the asking price, two over the asking price one of which was in cash (no loan approval needed). All the other homes in the neighborhood had taken months or years to sell. We were caught completely unprepared and had to do a double move with the house contents (once to a warehouse, then from there to the new home). PITA

I'm trying to figure out what happened in the bridge area.
The entire bass is a bit of a puzzle. Why are all the frets removed, why does it only have two bridge studs and no hole for the front stud, why did it have a hard tail, why are there three screw holes for the hardtail but what looks like a couple of additional holes filled in, why does it have one pot but none of the others, is the lower body wing cracked....?

I mentioned it to you in jest because of your current focus on mending broken birds.
Personally, I wouldn't mess with it even if someone gave it to me for free.

About the only good use for it that I can think of is as a learning tool for a Luthier apprentice or some musical vocational technology class. I can picture an instructor handing it to a student as a class assignment with instructions to return it to a fully functional bass for under $500. Cut the neck off, route the body for a bolt on fender neck, stabilize the crack in the lower body, install the necessary electronics and hardware and do a reranch paint job on the body. Might make a nice player.

I was thinking if someone gave it to me I’d do s basic repair, quick paint job, throw on cheap/old hardware, barely tension the strings, and get it on a restaurant wall or use it as a smashing stage prop.
