It dawned on me that I already had a set of BEAD nut files. I pulled out the low four round-wound strings that came on my Pro v and went to work. Would have been easier with RS66s, but use what you got!
After the slots were done, I pulled out the Cobalt flats I bought just for this and...
The CFs are fatter. (smh)
Despite the sworn testimony of members of the Princess Fingers club, these CFs are about abrasive as a Teflon[tm]-coated glass rod.
Tomorrow I’ll try the old rounds I used as files, just to test things out. And I guess order nut files.
I have been doing some research on the matter.
I think in my case it might actually be a cobalt allergy. Only way to be certain is with testing and that is not useful right now. However, in the event I need an artificial joint, pacemaker, or stent, it will be worth testing.
