Long gone, a shot from Seattle's Club Motor - a show we played 11 years ago.

I have always called that kind of mahogany pattern bee's wing. Honduras like that can have a stunning iridescent quality that puts maple to shame in the right light. I made some chairs out of it 30 years ago or so.

Someone over in the Corner is building a bass with a body like that - stunning light effect. I'll see if can find it.

I went back and looked closer at that shot - I haven't a clue as to what the actual Whiskey Tango Foxtrot I'm doing!

Those were some fun shows, it was nice to sleep in my own bed after a night of playing.
