I hear you, but consider this:
It would not only be quite time consuming, but also require access to virtually one of each model and not forgetting, them all having the same brand new strings, which would be quite a financial setback (at least in my case, if I were to do it)...
Also the same grooves/licks would have to be performed ar least 12 times on ALL the basses with the same settings (neck solo, bridge solo, both pickups on, and with the tone full on and rolled off in all instances), played both with a pick and with the fingers - Just to make everybody happy...
I got pretty much a copy of all the Epi's and a couple of Gibson's, but still lack the Blackbirds (both Epiphone and Gibson), Epi Elitists, Orville's and the abominable Gibson 2015...
If I were to restring 15 birds with the exact identical new strings, it would cost me a fortune, and take a lot of time, which I don't have...
