What happened to the bridge?

One of the screws has a small knick on it, placed just well enough to tear skin out of my right hand.
So I covered it with tape for now, but that bridge will go as soon as I can find loose change (been binging on gear and workshops since mid-december). Never had issues with 3-pointers before, but this one's really awful.
