Tuned, no; repaired? Yup.And you haven't had to take it into the shop to be tuned since. Nice!

Indonesia, there's few sunburst and an alpine whiteAnd what part of the world is that?
I'm pretty confident that's going to sound somewhere in the Amazing category!
Sweetness....you guys really got me wanting to try one of those cabs.....how does the signal chain differ between ub and electric? You know, it sounded really nice for what I like...on upright and electric. Good amp for doubling. Berg cab was really nice too. The TBird is always rad![]()
I'd think that for yer purposes, ya could find someone to build a cab that would suit you well...Wait...You know, it sounded really nice for what I like...on upright and electric. Good amp for doubling. Berg cab was really nice too. The TBird is always rad![]()
I see how you slipped "Stormy Monday" in there! What's your favorite version? I've heard some really good one's but can't say I've heard one that tops the Allman's version. Yet, anyway. The Eagle Flies on Friday

Yeah...I have a few shells built up, but haven’t finished them yet. After a couple hundred I got burnt out on building emI'd think that for yer purposes, ya could find someone to build a cab that would suit you well...Wait...![]()
It’s close the the Faded Pelham Blue on the recent run of JCs.Have mercy!
That color would look pretty cool on a Thunderbird.Or anything really.
And to think. A guy at our high school had a black ‘69 hardtop that he paid something like $1500 for. I’m sure it’s long gone. He was crazy.not in this lifetime...

Before we get sidetracked too much, I wanted to say...not really “my” trinity but more of an unspoken consensus among the muscle car community that would include the 69/70 454 Chevelle SS, the 70 426 Hemi ‘Cuda and the 69 429 Boss Mustang.....myself, more of a Rambler kinda guy....

If it just sits in the garage, the only reason to keep it is if the boy wants it.Oof! I should spend some money on my Camaro and sell it. It would pay for several '64 Thunderbirds if it went for half of that.
Mopar all the way for me. It’ll never happen though.Okay, I can see those as power, but I guess for me out of the three the Cuda would probably be in there, but I'd put in the Firebird (2nd Gen, 1970), but the third slot I'd have trouble filing, I got a real soft spot for the Dodge Charger ('68-70) and the Challenger, the first gen Camaros, and the first gen GTOs with the stacked lights. I like the early mustangs but by the 429 Boss they're just so big and look kinda bloated.
Really happy it seems to be working out for you. It really is a versatile amp.You know, it sounded really nice for what I like...on upright and electric. Good amp for doubling. Berg cab was really nice too. The TBird is always rad![]()
Yep I’d say the Allman Bros version is my favourite.I see how you slipped "Stormy Monday" in there! What's your favorite version? I've heard some really good one's but can't say I've heard one that tops the Allman's version. Yet, anyway.
The giant headstock is for keeping singers and guitarists in line.I can't help but wonder (likely wrongly) that Epi changed some things a little so as to discourage an enterprising luthier from refinishing the body and aging parts to make it seem like a 60s. People go to crazy lengths if they think they can make a killing off an unsuspecting buyer. But this I guess is unlikely. A buyer of a "vintage" Thunderbird would likely know what they are looking at and not be fooled. An online purchase may be more tricky. It would be a lot of work, but lowlifes will work hard to not work a regular job. But I just don't see a practical advantage of the giant headstock on the VPs.
