 I'm pretty confident that's going to sound somewhere in the Amazing category!

You know, it sounded really nice for what I like...on upright and electric. Good amp for doubling. Berg cab was really nice too. The TBird is always rad :)

I'd think that for yer purposes, ya could find someone to build a cab that would suit you well...Wait...;)

Sweetness....you guys really got me wanting to try one of those cabs.....how does the signal chain differ between ub and electric?

the upright goes to a Grace Felix preamp, then on to the Subway channel. The TBird goes straight into the boogie channel

Yeah...I have a few shells built up, but haven’t finished them yet. After a couple hundred I got burnt out on building em :)

not really “my” trinity but more of an unspoken consensus among the muscle car community that would include the 69/70 454 Chevelle SS, the 70 426 Hemi ‘Cuda and the 69 429 Boss Mustang.....myself, more of a Rambler kinda guy....

Before we get sidetracked too much, I wanted to say...

These are so freaking cool....

Okay, I can see those as power, but I guess for me out of the three the Cuda would probably be in there, but I'd put in the Firebird (2nd Gen, 1970), but the third slot I'd have trouble filing, I got a real soft spot for the Dodge Charger ('68-70) and the Challenger, the first gen Camaros, and the first gen GTOs with the stacked lights. I like the early mustangs but by the 429 Boss they're just so big and look kinda bloated.
Mopar all the way for me. It’ll never happen though.

I can't help but wonder (likely wrongly) that Epi changed some things a little so as to discourage an enterprising luthier from refinishing the body and aging parts to make it seem like a 60s. People go to crazy lengths if they think they can make a killing off an unsuspecting buyer. But this I guess is unlikely. A buyer of a "vintage" Thunderbird would likely know what they are looking at and not be fooled. An online purchase may be more tricky. It would be a lot of work, but lowlifes will work hard to not work a regular job. But I just don't see a practical advantage of the giant headstock on the VPs.
The giant headstock is for keeping singers and guitarists in line.
Cut off my bass solo at your risk!
