It varies greatly from church to church. Some are piano and organ to platforms having three guitars as well as other instruments. Some are soft sounding and other are pretty edgy. Those are fewer in number. We have acoustic guitar, piano, keyboard, drums and bass. No electric guitar at present, but when we do have one distortion is very often used--as subtle texture not a melt your face kind of thing. I won't post a clip of an example because what is on the Internet is either super produced if not over produced and what the typical Church does is not online. So you have overproduced examples and horrible examples some of which would be better not posted on youbube.

I think it's pretty much preamp changes...
named after....well, you know...funny story is I got him in France where (much to my ignorance) Rocco Sifredi was the reígning porn star at the time....I gave up trying to explain who he was named after shortly thereafter....there was no convincing the French..

Ok @TBird1958, I'll go stand in a corner now.
There was a reason to use the 5er-a new tune in Dm-coulda used the low D. Tune got changed to Cm-
. Low C too low for the R100 to produce cleanly.EDIT: I've found that D is as low as is produced audibly and as low as I need to go. Once in a while, I'll use a C or Db on the last hold, but usually in octaves.

I've worn them on stage before - carefully!
Carefully is the key word there, one misstep into a speaker cab or instrument line or power cord or band member could be disastrous. I frequently wore these on stage...
.... unfortunately I wasn't playing a TBird at the time.
