That poster is great! I have a new favorite band name; Venomous Lemon!

Previous faves include Safari Hat, Betty Kilder and Kat Box, and yes, one or two of those were bands I played with.
My favorite band names are still Seattle bands from the late '80s. Cat Butt and Bible Stud. They usually appeared together, too, which meant the poster said Cat Butt appearing with Bible Stud. Somehow, that makes it even funnier.

I'm still loving the 2015 T-bird that I received yesterday, but I can't help but wonder what it would look like with chrome or nickel pickup covers. Since the 2015 model has the unique EB exposed-pole humbuckers - does anyone know if Thunderbird chrome or nickel covers will fit the humbuckers?
Nope. Those pickups are completely unique. I'm not sure what unobtainium the magnets are made of, but I suspect they would suck the metal covers into a black hole if you tried it, even if they fit.

What? Why so long?

I dropped it off to have the neck straightened, which I’ve needed to have done a couple times before. I told him no rush….and he apparently took that to heart. When I checked with him in May I found he had moved his shop and was still in the process of getting operational again. Anyway….the Bird is back. Do you feel that subtle calming in the universe? Thats the Bird being back home.

I run 7250s on my Fender PJ. They're fine for it. I mostly play that bass as my P with rounds with the J pickup off.
Cool. I used to love the old version of their Super Bass Taper Core (on the E). I haven't tried the new version but from the reports they are not the same and don't seem to get the love as before.

Put on the Fender 7250’s for soundcheck. I get the appeal. More ‘polite’ than a lot of rounds I normally, but that ain’t always a bad thing. Would be great to tame a bass that’s maybe too grindy/growly for certain gigs. Super even and clear sounding though. I kinda like em so far, but the gig will be the real test :)
Thanks!
