Yeah, to me that just looks right. I know there was some discussion about control placement, but were any of the 60s NRs like the current configuration?
Just about ready to give up on the neck on this. Been playing c shape P necked basses since my post RE this issue, no problem. 20 minutes on it yesterday and my fretting hand is still a little sore. Sigh.... Thinking I'll put my HIGHLY flamed CS neck on it. Probably best to sell it, since it won't look good on anything else I have

That's hard to read, sorry, it's a beautiful bass.

Lol, I get amps in for repair where the owner puts a piece of masking tape over the knobs to keep the settings…Superglue everything in place?

Nope…..in all fairness the cable hits the tone control but you work around it..

Finished some updates on my FSOs:
I decided to try out a chinabucker in my J and the inlay decals were getting worn.
I wasn’t feeling good about flying the Maple Leaf on my Pbass so I revised it with the help of artwork by my wife.

Nice, I'm a big fan of the Chinabuckers. I do recommend CTS volume 500 pots, 250 tone pot, wired VVT. Series/parallel is also nice to get the P vibe for even more versatility.
I guess it is... Tough to understand how Nikki Sixx doesn't make that list. One could also argue the same for Pete Way, Martin Turner...
