Is that a good thing?
Having both, I prefer the Gibson right now - Based on my rig and the stock factory strings they sound much fuller, bass and all mids but less top than the 760's. That said, I'm still not convinced I have the right strings on my VP, currently Ken Smith Rock Masters, it's going to get some SIT's, as they seem to have a bit more bass and mid presence than Rock Masters.
It’s FedEx. When I bought the Mesa rig, it arrived via FedEx a day early on a Sunday.

Oh there’ll be pictures. This is the second new Gibson Tbird I’ve bought. The first was the ‘15 from GC after they “lost” some of the case candy (it was on the display rack for a day, high up). By all accounts, I was the first customer to handle it. I’m very excited.

I’ve got to say the Dunlap Marcus Miller stainless I put on the ‘15 turned that Bird into a different instrument. Great humbucker growl in full humbucker mode now. I would expect something similar from SIT Power Steels. The tapped Dicola pickups in it are Alnico Vs.

A buddy of mine had a 2015 Burb with steering problems. Something to do with an electric component failure. I think his was covered and fixed on a recall. Check with your dealer, there might be a recall on yours as well that could reduce or eliminate any out of pocket on your part.It's something wonky in the steering, that was supposed to be fixed already

Yes, I used them for quite a while on a couple basses, they held up pretty well actually - I'm very heavy handed when I play live. Lately I'm just liking the Smith's and SIT's a bit more.
A buddy of mine had a 2015 Burb with steering problems. Something to do with an electric component failure. I think his was covered and fixed on a recall. Check with your dealer, there might be a recall on yours as well that could reduce or eliminate any out of pocket on your part.

Fortunately, mine's all mechanical. But the dealerships here won't touch anything pre-2000
I've gradually (had) replaced all the steering bits over the last few years. Been putting off the upper control arms because it's $$($) to get done.
But that's my #2 suspect for the current problem, so they'll be getting done too
LOL - I haven’t even bought one for myself yet, let alone anyone else. I’ve been waiting to see the owner photos with hopefully a better capture of the true colors - right now as best I can tell, the green looks to be close to Gumby green (remember that little bendy guy), the blue looks to be a shade darker than Robin’s egg blue but not nearly as dark as PB, and the Burgundy looks darker than Candy Apple Red. I like all those colors, but not sure which one I like most, maybe Gumby.
I also want to hear some YouTube clips of them with Cobalt Flats or XL Rounds so I can get a feel for how much they differ from my current flock. So, I’m still on the fence, maybe in a few months I’ll budge.
