Thunderbird Club

I would like to visit out West one of these days. Seems fascinating if for nothing else it is so different than KY. I'm admittedly a boring person and those cities hold no interest for me. Wonderful aspects to them all no doubt, but not for me as far as I can tell. Really the only thing that I really dislike about here is cloudy days and Winter, but I keep hearing we won't be having that much longer so I'm all good! No doubt "here" would drive many crazy. Louisville has the population of San Fran I believe, but kind of has a small town feel in some ways.

Thunderbirds flock here in all seasons and hardly ever migrate away.

That "white" 76 is clearly defective. Send it to me and I will spend some time trying to make it the gleaming white it deserves to be. It may take a few years to complete a project of that magnitude.

I've always thought that since the Fed gov spends (wastes) massive money on funding absolutely foolish studies ($1mill for zoo poetry) and programs that they ought to fund transcontinental pipelines to relieve flooding in these parts and pump water to needed parts. Expensive? Yep? So is drought and flooding. Divert funds from stupid things and put people to work doing those pipelines with various collection points and disbursement points. There are almost 200,000 miles of pipeline already so a little more would make zero difference.

I went to the zoo,
To see animals poo.

Well just great. Over achiever. That no doubt qualifies for the pitifully low standards and more money will get sucked out of the states. Be sure and claim that as income and pay your.....share.

Plaid is of the idea we should bring water by train just like oil, I concur..

I don't know the percentage, but there's big pipeline from west TX and WY to CA bringing refined oil (likely a few others as well). From around LA to SF there are a good number of pipelines. Safer and more efficient than rail. (With water you could pump much faster than say gas because the friction is not a hazard. The more flammable the slower it has to go.) Only a small percentage is by rail and truck--I doubt even 10 percent combined, whereas pipelines carry about a 1/4 refined and likely 75% crude. Depends on several factors at any given time. Pipelines are all over the place and rarely have significant problems due to much better engineering. They even run what are called PIGs for ongoing testing and visuals. People have no idea just how many there are, largely because there is rarely a problem. But trains are WAY more cool!

You just can pipe one of these!

A Thunderbird Thursday sneak peek of the Bling Bird in progress and my SG Supreme that I hope to match the finish on when done…

I can't help but wonder how a light, transparent white would look with that gold hardware. I mean if you are going for bling, go Pimp Bling. I won't do it, but I think the white VP would look great with gold hardware. My main player in the 80s was a Pbass that was white and I put all gold HW on it. (What Elite's had...with the heavy bridge with micro tuners.) Later had a white Jazz and I put a mirror pick guard on it. People loved it. They were shallow like me no doubt.

I looked, and this is as close as I found with something like the maple you have.

Sounds like a new deal
