Thunderbird Club

Not gonna be late for Thunderbird Thursday this time!

Had the Blackbird out, working on re-learning some of the old Motley Crüe songs I forgot years ago.
Figured that was the obvious bass for the job :D
(but the Nexus strings are a bit too....twangy? Dunno, might try something different on it, I guess. I kinda liked how the Roto 77s sounded........ )

So, that's what this week's pic is......

SF isn’t what it used to be, but still a pretty city.
Fog City Diner was always my favorite diner when in town.

interesting view, for me, not to disrespect anyone but along with NY, Boston, NO, Seattle and Miami it’s the best the US has to offer as far as cities go….

ThunderBird Thursday!

I thought I would post a pic of my new burgundy and Inverness green non reverseses!

I went to a local Guitar Center to check one out today. They had a Pelham blue in store there. Oddly the price on the instrument was tagged $1,899. That’s $100 more than the same instrument on their own web site. :rollno:
They seemed busy so I didn’t wait around to play it or speak with anyone about the discrepancy.

I went to my local GC for the first time in 2 years just to see if they had any in stock... no dice...

MSRP is $1799 can't see how they are asking more...

I would like to visit out West one of these days. Seems fascinating if for nothing else it is so different than KY. I'm admittedly a boring person and those cities hold no interest for me. Wonderful aspects to them all no doubt, but not for me as far as I can tell. Really the only thing that I really dislike about here is cloudy days and Winter, but I keep hearing we won't be having that much longer so I'm all good! No doubt "here" would drive many crazy. Louisville has the population of San Fran I believe, but kind of has a small town feel in some ways.

Thunderbirds flock here in all seasons and hardly ever migrate away.

I'll take the one on the far right when it decides to migrate. Thanks.

We have a gig Saturday night at a local VFW. Plenty of room, so it's gonna be THUNDERBIRD time.:hyper:
Hadda use the SS Epi EB-0 the past coupla days. Felt weird. Not bad, just sorta wrong.
Addendum: It occurs to me that I should prolly woodshed a little to reacquaint myself with the longer scale.

Nah.
The first solid clam should put you back on track!

Given that they have one in stock, and almost no one else does, and the dates keep getting pushed out, I can.
