I found it!
youtube's search algorithm doesn't find it, like it used to. But I found a thread where I posted it before, and the videos are still up.
That’s really cool! I wish I could understand Japanese.
quoted again for context, Gibson should watch these videos:
The yardbird basses which don't say that they have Lull pickups ----- have Lollars.
I like them best with Tony Stevens on bass but there were some later songs that I liked quite a bit....
Lesser known, but my fave.
A little tribute to Foghat during a super high tide at my marina.

Those pop up cheap around here once in awhile. There's usually a reason. Usually blown speakers.Wandering around my local L&M last night. There is a GK 410 for C$199. The rat fur looks dirty, as does the rest. But, for that price... If I could think of a use for it, it would be paid for and waiting for me to pick it up.
I'm glad you noticed a difference as well, so it's not just me. That's why I was so happy you got the old one going again. Nothing sounds like it.went to GC to buy some pics and saw an new MXR Phaser 90 that i tried out….something definitely changed from the older ones (like dagrev’s) as it sounded more glassy….hard to explain but definitely not as satisfying (?)……Tbirds must be in cause the young sales dude caught a glimpse of one of the Birds in my pics and goes..”oh man! you got a Thunderbird?! you are soooo lucky!!”..definitely wasn’t expecting that….
did they go digital? wth?! thing is, it looks identical..I'm glad you noticed a difference as well, so it's not just me. That's why I was so happy you got the old one going again. Nothing sounds like it.
"New and Improved"-or not. I seem to recall a saying sorta like "if it works, don't 'fix' it".did they go digital? wth?! thing is, it looks identical..
hire him?Funny story..About two years ago I hired a master electrician to be part of my team. After he came down to my office he noticed a beat up Stratocaster hanging on the wall. He asked who was the musician? I told him that I was a Bass player. He said he was too. I gave him the name of my local band Wyldesound. I asked him who he played with. He said he was formerly a touring Bass Player with a national act. He was modest about it and I asked who would that have been?..the answer..Foghat!
His name is Dave Crigger, you can check him out on the bands website as a former member. I've always loved Foghat. I told him that if had told me that he had been a member of that band first off it would have been a much shorter interview.
Cheers!
so true, something about a DSP “emulating “ a vintage amp that just plain don’t jive for me…"New and Improved"-or not. I seem to recall a saying sorta like "if it works, don't 'fix' it".
Particularly with a case and white becoming harder to find. Wonder how seller thinks it can be shipped for $60.
It’s here, and it just sings through that amp. Beautiful finish, plays well right out of the box, and it has “that sound.” That’s the sound I remember from when I played a Thunderbird from ‘77-‘81.
