Hear me outYou are in error sir. A game with me will prove that there is no safety with me on a par 3. There is also no safety in the cart; I nearly rolled one once (I maintain that there was an oil spill on the pathway that caused the skid).
In fact, I am willing to bet that with me, there is no safety on a putt putt course.
microphonic...you may need more or denser foam beneath..Have anyone here opened a chinabucker? I plan to do so since my Telebird's bridge pickup is a bit noisy or it amplifys finger and pick "hits" a bit too loudly. It rings (for a lack of a better description).

I'd hate to replace it as it has started to age so nicely...

or a non pro....Yeah, I'll try the foam first but I'm afraid it might need a wax-potting. Not that it should be a difficult task for a pro to do.
So, not planning on selling any of these knobs. However, if one of you can’t find one of these elsewhere, PM me.

I know it's not Thunderbird Thursday yet, but....
There might be a bit of buckle rash on the back of that bass...

…well, in that case, there might be just a rash on the back of that bass. Yikes! Not sure it's high enough to hit the buckle![]()
Thank you. I love the view. We are largely surrounded by trees and the course as we basically bought the whole end of the street which is right at 2.5 acres. I like the privacy in case I want to play my Thunderbird out side naked. There's a downside to just about everything, but I love that the city takes care of "my" nice backyard though they let people play golf on it! They need to work on moles, however. I'm going to have to go Bill Murray in Caddy Shack if I can't make some progress.Looks beautiful. The joy of living on a golf course, occasional bombardment.
Yep, I’ve hit a couple of houses and even a parking lot - no cars, no windows and no pets yet. Sad to say, I’ve even hit 3 people with golf balls over a 30 year period (one was my wife - I’ll never live that one down).
As a rule of thumb when owning a house on a golf course buy directly behind the green on a par 3 hole. It’s a tee shot to the green, so the ball is teed up nicely or lying perfectly for the shot, much more control over where it goes. A wedge or high loft iron is typically used so very few high speed line drives (which means little to no damage to anything it might hit). And few golfers ever overshoot a par three far enough to hit your house. However, many golfers do hook or slice and do miss the green to the right or left, hence, buy behind the green, not to the sides.
The worst place to buy on a golf course if you have young kids is at the tee box. They’ll pick up some really interesting vocabulary listening to golfers that have just muffed up their drive. And the worst place to buy on a golf course if you don’t want man made polymer hail on a daily basis is 150 to 250 yards off the tee box on the right side of a par 4 or 5 fairway. Guaranteed you’ll lose a window and roof tiles there, but on the bright side you’ll never need to buy golf balls again.
When I was a kid we would ride our bikes to a local park which had a hill that we would launch from that would shoot us down a fairway. We would be flying through golfers yelling "Four!"...since it was golf and all. Seemed the thing to do. They didn't yell "four" back as far as I could tell. It was things that didn't sound like numbers. But we were going so fast our feet would come off the peddles and our butts from the seat as we hit the bumps, so we were too busy hanging on to wave or anything. And I still can't figure out what a golf course is good for, with the exception of riding dirt bikes.
Hitting the ball to go chase it down seems somewhat counter productive. I do like shooting golf balls with a pistol or rifle. Nothing left to chase after at that point.I subscribe to the Bill Cosby description of 'pasture pool': Place ball on tee. Hit ball. Go after ball...
You had the ball in your hand. All the rest is unnecessary.![]()
Ain't no ball worth that. It worked out...that time.Bird/other wildlife sanctuary. In FL water 'hazards' include extra hazards.

Of all the things you've ever said, I tend to place this one in the "truth" column with no reservation. You are in error sir. A game with me will prove that there is no safety with me on a par 3. If you ever come to Kentucky, I'm hiding all my knobs. So, not planning on selling any of these knobs. However, if one of you can’t find one of these elsewhere, PM me.
