Thunderbird neck on a fender body?

Hey guys, simple question really.
For some reason I really like the neck of my thunderbird and was thinking in doing the opposite of a traditional fenderbird.. And putting a tbird neck on a fender standard p-bass special body.
Do you guys know if it will fit?
Anyone done this version of Fenderbird before?
Stupid Idea?
Thanks fellas.

Epiphone T-Bird necks wouldn't fit a Fender neck pocket very well. Their neck heel is skinnier (at least on the one Epi T-Bird I've had) so you'd have to do some kind of fill job or glue a piece of wood in the whole neck pocket and re-route it. Putting a Fender style neck on a (Epi or other bolt on bird) T-Bird bass is a little easier since you just route the pocket bigger.
