Thunderbird pickups...

I bought these same ones to put in a P body in approximate thunderbird pickup positions. There are a lot of reviews if you search for Chinabuckers. The general consensus is they are really good for the price, especially if you are new to thunderbird pickups. I find them to be very full and with warmer top end to them.

Typically the difference between these and something of a higher quality from a smaller custom builder is that the higher end usually have better clarity and or articulation. It comes down to whether that is worth it or not.

For someone like me that wanted to dip their toe into the Thunderbird pickups it filled the need for me.
