TI Flats are oh so Good!!!

I have tried these on several types of basses and they are just in another league tonally. I've tried many different types of strings and they seem to just add a warmth anf thickness to any bass you play. I know some will complain about the cost but to me they are the best value on the market in terms of what they offer tonally and longevity wise. They are the smoothest string I've played with the exception of Tapes. Are there others out there that like them as good as I do?

I really loved them for twelve years (two sets in all that time) until I tried Ernie Ball Cobalt Flats. Bye bye T-I!

That's only for one particular bass though.

The Cobalt Flats are really nice string and I've tried them on many basses but nothing gives me the tone that TI's do.

TI - Fantastic tone but rubber band feeling ruins it for me.
As a recording bass these are the way to go.
As a live playing bass I stick with my Ernie Ball Flats in 50/65/85/110

I've never had a issue with the flexability of TI's. as a matter of fact that is what I like best. Best B string I've ever played.

50% of my basses have TI JFs on them. Great strings. The other 50% will soon be getting TI JRs put on them.

Nothing sounds like them, for sure. I just prefer the EB sound for my particular fretless bass by a very wide margin.

I just got my first 5 string bass ever, and it's also the first fretted bass I've had in over thirty years. I'd love to try the Jazz Rounds on it eventually, but I'll probably have to cycle through some less expensive alternatives first before I get to that...

The Warrior uses string through the end design and needs strings 37.5 inches in B string to work. The TI rounds are a little to short.

They don't have the same low end response as some other flatwound strings, but they have a uniquely pleasant tone that I've not heard elsewhere. A high quality string to be sure!

I love TIs on some basses. The Jazz rounds are a little too flimsy--and I love the feel of the TIs. They really take some getting used to, but do sound good in some settings.

I use both TI jazz flats and jazz rounds. I tried lots of other strings, but none sound as good as TI's to my ears. The jazz rounds are too bright for my taste right out of the box, but once they've broken in, they sound great.

I was a big fan of Chromes, but don't like the way flats feel. Don't like stainless steel rounds either. Pretty much played nickel for the last five years. I really like the sound of flats, but can't get past the feel.

TI Flats just seem to bring out the best on every bass. I've got them on solid, semi solid, and hollow bodies. The lows are commanding, the mids are punchy, and the highs shimmer. Expensive? Yes, sure are. But you can use them for over a decade (and I have on more than one bass) and they never fail to impress.
