TI Flats Plus D-Tuner Equals...

Hello,
I searched TB and there are plenty of hits for using a Hipshot D-Tuner with TI Flats. What I'm curious about are any observations of string life reduction from flipping back and forth.

Given how long TI Flats should last, has anyone experienced a reduction in E-string life due, possibly, to using a D-Tuner?

Thanks,
John

I used TI's years ago. I had one set on a Jazz for over two years and didn't notice any problems using my D-Tuner other than the extra-floppyness when in the de-tuned position. It didn't affect string life at all.
